How can I help?

We will pick up old technology equipment anywhere anytime. We will securely wipe or physically destroy the existing hard disks. If you remove hard disks as a matter of corporate policy, that's fine. We typically install small SSD drives anyway so you have saved us a step by doing that for us. Those computers are still very valuable. Laptops are best because many of our clients need to be mobile, but we do have some demand for desktops so we will always take them too. Wireless routers, switches, and other networking gear can be wiped of configs and re-purposed or re-sold via our partners to provide cash to buy new screens, SSDs, keyboards, batteries, and other items we often need to upgrade or repair donated laptops. Doing this work gives our volunteers and clients valuable work skills which can be utilized to help them improve their personal financial situation. We have seen this happen over and over again. They often come back to teach others and share the skills they have learned.

Use the Donate Technology form to tell us about your donation and we’ll call you back to schedule a pickup appointment. Please give us a general idea of the size of your donation too. Do we need to send a car with room in the trunk or a tractor trailer? You may also email or call us to make an appointment.
